An epithet for the Land of Israel. An expression that conveys the fertility of the land and the abundance of food it produces (a land from which milk and honey flow in great plenty).

("If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us—a land which flows with milk and honey" (Numbers 14:8, Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh to the congregation of Israel), and similarly: "Rami bar Yehezkel came to Bnei Barak; he saw goats eating under fig trees, and honey was dripping from the figs and milk was dripping from the goats and they mixed together.
